IN MEMORIAM
CHRISTOPHER WAYNE QUIRING
May 12, 1975 - March 10, 2007
Chris Quiring, the co-founder of SPI, passed away on the evening of March 10 in a skidoo accident while skidooing with Todd Hrabok/Owner of SPI, and two uncles.
Chris worked for the company as a private investigator on a part-time basis and also taught the security guard course.
Chris and Todd have been best friends for over 13 years and were inseparable.
They spent many days and hours together conducting surveillance, and in their spare time Todd would head out to Osler to spend time with Chris, or they would go on trips to the mountains with the SPI Rhino ATV or on their skidoos during the winter months.
They shared all the same interests, from vehicles to pets and love of animals, hockey teams (Edmonton Oilers), and recreational vehicles as well as daily interests, etc. They went on frequent fishing and camping trips every year.
Chris was a role model for many of our staff as everyone looked up to him for his professionalism and GREAT sense of humour. Chris always liked to joke around and was unbeatable when it came to arm wrestling.
Chris was also a man of God and was not shy about his beliefs. Chris's father, Dwayne Quiring, passed away at the age of 33 in 1987 in a tragic vehicle accident. Chris's mother, Pat Doell and stepfather Ken Doell reside 2 kilometres away from Chris's acreage. He also has a younger sister named Amanda who will be 27 years old this year. (Todd will now make sure she is safe and happy, taking on the big brother role that Chris did SO well).
Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his wife Louanna, son Cayden who is 3 years old and his unborn son Caleb (Louanna is due to give birth April 20th, 2007).
WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH CHRIS AND WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH!! FROM ALL OF US AT SASKATOON PRIVATE INVESTIGATIONS AND SPI SECURITY!!
